Benevolence & Hands of Abundance Ministry

The Five-Fold Purpose is to:

Be the extended arms of Christ when AGCI members or their close relatives become ill and/or experience the loss of a loved one.

Inform AGCI members of funeral and memorial service times and arrangements for bereaved members and their loved ones.

Assist with sending floral arrangements for funerals and memorial services being held at the church or alternate location.

Send get-well blessings to sick and shut-in members and floral arrangements to bereaved members and their family homes.

Prepare letters of Resolution and Notices of Sympathy on behalf of the Church for deceased members and their families. 

The foundation scriptures are:

"And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away." --Revelation 21:4

"Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." --Matthew 5:4
